About Me

 I am determined to meet and exceed the goals I create and one of those is playing college golf. I started playing golf in Fall 2019 and played for Southside High School's boys golf team in Spring 2020. In Fall 2020, I became the first and only member of my school's girls golf team. I placed third in my region and received an All-Region award. By scoring 95 in the Upper State Tournament, I qualified for the State Tournament, where I played as an individual and shot 109-98. This year, I returned to the state championship and shot 80-80, placing 19th out of 82 girls. After just two years of playing golf, I have accomplished a lot and continu to improve quickly. I play tournaments in the SCJGA, the GSA, and the Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour.

 I attend the International Baccalaureate Program at my school which includes several rigorous courses that encourage independence, diversity, and making connections across subjects. AP and IB classes I have taken include AP World History, AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, AP English Literature/Composition, AP Psychology, AP US History, IB Chemistry SL, IB Theory of Knowledge, and IB French B SL-1. My goal is to maintain high grades and graduate with an IB diploma.

I am a member of Academic Team and Students For Change at my school. I also enjoy giving back to my community. I started playing golf through the First Tee program and it has taught me to be a great leader, person, and golfer. The program has given me numerous invaluable skills, experiences, and opportunities, and I give back by volunteering as a First Tee coach teaching golf and life skills to younger participants. I have also volunteered at the food bank, library, and school events.
